“An hour of planning can save you ten hours of doing.” – Dale Carnegie

While Hallsta’s linchpin quote is “Begin with the end in mind,” the above perfectly represents the gravity of Phase 2 in our Project Management Life Cycle. A well-executed Planning Phase saves time and money, the two most essential and oft fleeting elements of project management.

In the Planning Phase, our Hallsta team takes the findings of the Initiation Phase and works it into a design. Our Project Managers enlist architects, engineers, and end users to craft the perfect blueprint and process for execution. First – a schematic with the basic layout and initial drawings. Then – developments with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. Lastly – we get the building approved, permitted, and ready for groundbreaking.

Hallsta is a holistic approach to hospital creation and revitalization. Beginning with the end in mind, experienced Project Managers like Manny Umanzor are forward-thinking and proactive. “Our pre-construction meetings consider end users – what impacts doctors, nurses, facility workers, and most especially patients.” This small consideration in the Planning Phase translates to exponential benefits in the future.

The Hallsta advantage lies in our commitment to the client – we are the owner’s representative. While we enlist various vendors and disciplines in the Planning Phase, our loyalty is to you. We will vet your desired sources with as much rigor and thoroughness as we will the companies we’ve worked with before. We look at every facet of every project objectively and on behalf of the owner. The client is always first.
