Where would any office be without Human Resources? They’re a department of many hats and provide support to all employees who need it. Human Resources is an ever-changing environment that ebbs and flows with changes in hiring habits, economic climate, and workplace trends. Our own personal HR expert, Yesenia, is a vital part of Hallsta, and today we’re appreciating all the hard work she has done over the years.
The COVID-19 Pandemic affected Hallsta differently than most businesses, being situated in the healthcare industry led to plenty of challenges for HR. During a whirlwind of new projects and obstacles, Yesenia was more hands-on than ever. The biggest challenge was adjusting back to normalcy and assuring employees they were heard and taken care of. Yesenia has been truly exceptional and has been a driving force of operations here at Hallsta.
Yesenia’s favorite part of the job is “working 1 on 1, engaging, and connecting with employees.” One of Hallsta’s core values is caring, which Yesenia embodies as she provides support for our employees and creates a happy & healthy work environment. Yesenia believes that the more accessible HR is, the happier employees are. Having an open-door policy and being available to connect has been the most successful strategy here at Hallsta.
